    Hybrid training in Kokapet, Hyderabad

    Race-ready. Built to last.

Strength and engine in the same week, coached one-on-one, for race day and the decades after it.

    What hybrid means

    Strength and engine, same week.

Bodybuilding splits train one muscle a day and barely touch your heart and lungs. Everyday life asks for more: lift, carry, climb the stairs and still have breath left. Hybrid training puts strength and conditioning in the same plan.

    1. Deadlift platform and wall racks on the Fisique floor
      01

      Lift

Squats, hinges, presses and pulls, coached for form first and load second.

    2. A row of treadmills under the Train Hard neon sign
      02

      Run and row

An aerobic engine built from easy runs and short intervals, so you recover faster between hard efforts.

    3. Medicine balls and kettlebells racked in the studio room
      03

      Race stations

Sleds, carries, lunges and wall balls: the work that decides a hybrid race.

    The long-term health case

Race prep now. A capable body later.

The WHO physical activity guidelines ask adults for regular aerobic activity plus muscle-strengthening work at least twice a week. Large cohort studies link higher cardiorespiratory fitness and a stronger grip with lower mortality.

A hybrid week trains both, so the race is a deadline, not the finish line.

    A week at Fisique

    A Transform week, sketched.

Transform is three coached one-hour sessions a week, one-on-one. A race-prep week often looks like this, with Grind gym access on the other days.

    1. Mon

      Strength and engine

      Lower-body strength, then short intervals.

    2. Tue

      Easy run

30 to 40 minutes at a pace you can talk at.

    3. Wed

      Race stations

Sleds, carries, lunges and wall balls, linked by short runs.

    4. Thu

      Mobility

Light work and mobility. Recovery is part of the plan.

    5. Fri

      Strength and engine

Pulling and pressing, then a steady engine block.

    6. Sat

      Long and easy

A longer run or mixed cardio at an easy effort.

    7. Sun

      Rest

A day off. The floor is open on Sunday mornings if you want it.

Coached one-on-one On your own, Grind gym access

Every plan is customised and adjusted to your progress.

Want every day coached? Transform+ runs six days a week. Personal training is capped at 40 clients and the gym at 50 members, so your coach has time for you.

    FAQ

    Hybrid questions, plain answers.

What people ask before their first hybrid week at Fisique.

    Who is hybrid training for?

Anyone who wants to be strong and fit at the same time: people training for The Yoddha Race, Devils Circuit or a HYROX-style race, and people with no race at all who want a body that keeps working for decades. Sessions are one-on-one, so the plan starts from where you are.

Do I need to be fit already?

No. Your coach starts from your current level, teaches each movement before it is loaded, and builds the running gradually. The first goal is turning up every week, not how hard any one session feels.

Can I do it three days a week?

Yes. Transform is three coached one-hour sessions a week, which is enough for most people when the other days include easy movement on the gym floor. If you want every session coached, Transform+ runs six days a week.

Do you train beginners for the Yoddha Race?

Yes. Fisique is an Official Training Partner of The Yoddha Race, which reaches Hyderabad on 5 December 2026. Beginners are welcome: your coach scales every zone to your level, and the Yoddha Race Training Programme has 1-month and 3-month plans.

    Is this HYROX training?

It is HYROX-style training: the same pattern of running and stations, built into your plan. Fisique is not affiliated with HYROX. There is no HYROX race in Hyderabad yet, so Hyderabad athletes usually race in Bengaluru or Mumbai.

    What happens after the race?

You keep the base. The WHO guidelines ask adults for aerobic activity plus muscle-strengthening work on at least two days a week, and a hybrid week covers both. After race day your coach shifts the plan towards long-term strength and health, or towards your next race.
